Willowmere is a beautiful neighborhood in southeastern Charlotte, NC. Located minutes from downtown Matthews and Route 16, Providence Road, residents enjoy easy access to I-485, uptown Charlotte, and a wide variety of restaurants and retail shops. Nearby shopping centers include Plantation Market, the Promenade, the Arboretum, and Providence Commons.

Activities are also located nearby to Willowmere. Across Weddington Matthews Road is the Siskey YMCA, one of the largest YMCAs in the country. It is a fabulous facility with fitness equipment, indoor and outdoor pools, sports fields, classes, and much more! Colonel Beatty Park, featuring sports fields, two playgrounds, a large lake, picnic tables, and paddleboat rentals, is about a mile away on the same road. And just minutes away is the Matthews Area Recreation Association, offering multiple sports fields for baseball, softball, and lacrosse.

Willowmere features a clubhouse, lighted tennis courts, a meditation park, playground, and beautiful swimming pool. The community has many clubs and committees and it hosts social events for all ages throughout the year. For more swimming opportunities, the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center is a short drive away.
