Weddington Ridge

Weddington Ridge is a beautiful neighborhood in the town of Matthews, NC, with about 277 homes. Located minutes from downtown Matthews and Route 16, Providence Road, residents enjoy easy access to I-485, uptown Charlotte, and a wide variety of restaurants and retail shops. Nearby shopping centers include Plantation Market, the Promenade, the Arboretum, and Providence Commons.

Activities are also located nearby to Weddington Ridge. About half a mile down Weddington Matthews Road is the Siskey YMCA, one of the largest YMCAs in the country. It is a fabulous facility with fitness equipment, indoor and outdoor pools, sports fields, classes, and much more! Colonel Beatty Park, featuring sports fields, two playgrounds, a large lake, picnic tables, and paddleboat rentals, is in the other direction on the same road. And just minutes away is the Matthews Area Recreation Association, offering multiple sports fields for baseball, softball, and lacrosse.

Weddington Ridge features a clubhouse and terrific pool complex, including a baby pool, splash pool with mushroom falls, and another large pool. The community hosts social events for all ages throughout the year and has an established home owners’ association. For more swimming opportunities, the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center is a short drive away.
